Welcome
As RANZCO President, it is my pleasure to invite you to attend the 44th Annual Scientific Congress, in Melbourne Australia.
Now in its 44th year, the RANZCO Congress is the major educational event on the Australian and New Zealand Ophthalmologists calendar.
It not only caters for your professional development needs, but is also highly enjoyable with many opportunities to socialise with colleagues and of course see the sights of Melbourne – Australia’s cultural capital.
I’m confident you’ll find that the 2012 Congress surpasses your expectations. I look forward to seeing you there!
Dr Bill Glasson
RANZCO President

The 2012 Congress will be one to remember. Melbourne is a creative, exciting, ever-changing city with surprises to be discovered in every basement, rooftop and laneway.
The College’s Scientific Program Committee has already locked in prominent local and international speakers and is continuing to work towards preparing a very comprehensive and inspirational scientific program. Make sure you bring your iPads, Phones and Tablets so you can interact with our developing program.
The Organising Committee is preparing a fantastic array of social events at unique venues around Melbourne. Starting with the new, on the 89th floor of Eureka Tower, you can watch the sunset from the southern hemisphere’s highest view. We’ll finish with the old, with a dinner on Tuesday night at Ormond College, where we hope to have magical inspiration.
We look forward to welcoming you to Melbourne in 2012. Keep an eye on this website for further developments.
